Job Details
The Service Coordinator will provide back-office support for Bratney Companies' Service department. This is an administrative support position; providing assistance to the Service Manager and Technicians who service and maintain industrial equipment in the grain, feed, seed, nut, food, and specialty commodity industries. Day-to-day duties consist of managing Technician's timecards & expenses, preparing quotations, customer billing, and monitoring warehouse inventory. The primary focus of the Service Coordinator will be working together with entire Service team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation of customer quotations and keep the team updated on status.
- Field customer requests that come into the office & provide assistance with issues where possible.
- Consult with Service Manager where appropriate to ensure industry-leading customer experience.
- Enter and track equipment orders for customers.
- Demonstrate knowledge of products and an ability to source them quickly and effectively.
- Help with communication and maintenance of parts inventory.
- Communicate with Territory Sales Managers to ensure customer issues are understood and remedied.
- Receive and code timecards and expense reports within company financial software.
- Maintain a focus on quality customer service to preserve and strengthen customer relationships.
- Monitor pricing for commonly ordered parts and ensure we are buying efficiently.
- Become fluent in and update CRM as necessary.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to Bratney safety policies.
- Be flexible when necessary; willing to assist other areas of the business when needs arise including backing up the Front Desk for breaks.

Education / Experience
- Prior experience in an administrative, accounting, service, or sales support role.
- Skilled in the use of basic computer software and web/mobile applications to accomplish daily tasks.
- College degree or equivalent industry experience is preferred.
- Experience in the seed, grain, or food industry, or other agriculture-related experience is preferred but not required.
