The oat polisher removes the trichomes, or “fluff,” from the outside of the grain in a gentle but sufficient manner. Oats pass through a feed screw and enter a working chamber where a special rotor creates friction that cleans the grain and removes the fluff from each oat. This cleanliness, reduces dust emission, and increases plant efficiency.
